The Val di Sole is situated in the West of Trentino, nestled amongst the impressive peaks of the Brenta, Adamello-Presenella, Ortles-Cevedale and the Maddalene mountain groups.
The river Noce runs along its entire length and its various tributaries come down from the valleys slopes, and the most important are the torrents of the Rabbi and Peio valleys.
More than a third of the valley belongs to protected areas: the entire Northern part falls into the boundaries of the Stelvio National Park, while in the South there is the Adamello Brenta National Park. Thus, a holiday in Val di Sole is a complete immersion into the wonders of nature.
