Established in 1967, it is the largest park of this Province (618 sq km). Its boundaries include almost the entire group of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello-Presanella Group.
Valley with its Tovel lake, which constitutes a major tourist attraction in the summer months.
Equally fascinating is the Val Genova with its waterfalls and its stunning nature. Besides, more than 30 alpine bears live in the park, hiding in the numerous valleys crossed by streams and covered with thick pine forests.
Since 1978, the Autonomous Province of Trento has passed a bill to compensate any damage to apiaries and assaults to livestock, in order to protect the plantigrade.
In the park there are several place names that recall his fearsome raids (Busa de l'Ors, Val de l'Ors).
