SRT A

Course for Experts in River Rescue and Flood Relief - advanced
The Swiftwater Rescue Technician Advanced course, (SRT A) lasts approximately from 28 to 30 hours, divided into 4-6 hours of classroom lecture and 20 - 24 training in and out of the river.

This course is open to all those who already have a SRT 1 certificate and master the rescue techniques well.
At this level, you will deepen the topics covered in the course SRT 1, with the addition of more complex maneuvers, through the use of ropes and specific equipment, training on more difficult stretches of the river and in highly difficult situations.

The trained technicians will be able to meet the strict standards  of the NFPA special rescue teams.
An important feature of this course is the presence of a training program for night intervention, based on  both theoretical lessons and night training for rescue and victims’recovery.
This will allow participants to experience a simulation of a real and complicated situation, testing themselves and the group in which they work.
The Center will issue a Rescue Project Certificate.
